Gallery Row (1986)
Carly Capitol Group
This project, located on the Seventh Street Arts corridor that extends from the National Portrait Gallery to the National Archives, is a commercial building of 45,000 square feet. Three levels of office space rise above street oriented gallery spaces. The facade of the new building is a representation of the winding monumental stair which it houses. Literally and figuratively, this stair connects the misaligned floors of the buildings to the north and south.
